She is far more precious than jewels.
She works with willing hands.
She is like the ships of the merchant;
she brings her food from afar.
She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household
She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong.
She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
Her lamp does not go out at night.
She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.
She makes bed coverings for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land.
Strength and dignity are her clothing,

and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

  1. Thanks for following my blog! We have many interests in common so I’m following your blog now. My wife and daughter are natural hair proponents so I may learn something here to share with them.

  2. Not a problem, I’ve really been inspired from what I’ve read so far on your blog. Thanks for following back! I hope I can be of some help to you, and them.

  3. God has certainly used you to speak to me. I was searching for scripture on hair loss and not only did I find it in your blog but was also convicted by your Prov 31 post. I’ve got work to do!!

  4. Hi there, if you’re interested, I would like to see if you would want to include your blog in a natural hair blog directory so that we can spread the word about your blog! Check it out at naturalhairblogdirectory.com
