iPisa #DuffleBaggingEurope

Here’s to my first installment of #DuffleBaggingEurope adventures. All of these photos were taken on my iPhone soo yea.

So I arrived in Pisa at about 2:20am. The American girls backpacking Europe and I found this little kebab shop and waited for my friends to arrive at 3:15am.

Upon their arrival the kebab shop closes. After exchanging information with Hannah(backpacker) we separated and “the girls from Howard” and I were on our way to the hostel. My first hostel experience!

So we arrived and the place is closed! Luckily for us someone who “lives” there came and also let us in. So we slept waited in the lobby until 10:30am when they opened. We didn’t get into our rooms until 12pm.

Since we had a full nights rest in the lobby we took our showers and headed out!

The weather was fairly nice

and at night…

I absolutely loved Pisa! It’s a cute little town and the architecture is beautiful, much like the rest of Italy. The gelato was amazing – just like I remembered from Rome (back in 2011).

Since our day started late, we didn’t get a chance to go to Florence like we planned :-/

I’m not too upset cause I really enjoyed Pisa. I don’t know it’s something about that small town feel. Also I think I was just really happy to get out of Marseille. Italian is quite similar to Spanish(took 4years) and most business people spoke English so communicating was much easier. Next stop: Brussels, Belgium!

Till next time
