In my quest not to gain the freshman 15, I began eating healthier cutting out a lot of fried foods (well as much as possible on campus). And like the video states, it feels good when you eat right and sluggish when you don’t so naturally I wanted to eat what makes me feel better. I think that’s the biggest difference this time in why I (think) I’ve been successful in toning up – too soon to see results. I’m eating better not because I HAVE to get the body I want, but because I want to so I feel good.
Another difference I noticed so not talking about it. I feel like when, I tell someone I am then forced to live up to that expectation. Also not everyone is on that same mission with me. It’s as if the moment they know you’re trying to eat better, they wanna go to the fat food joint. -__-
Lastly, I found living a healthy lifestyle is more a “mind over matter” thing. Like really keep reminding yourself of the goal when you get tempted. The first week of the year I fasted ( for God; not diet purposes) five days no food (just liquid) I didn’t think I would be able to do it but I did because I knew why I was doing it and what my outcome would be. I’m basically taking the same approach into improving my physical fitness.
Welp that’s all for now. I will surely update ya’ll WHEN I start seein results.
