I take a computer graphics class at school. This is my second year taking it and the class is basically based on creating pieces for competitions. Off course we get grades, but all of our work in entered in a competition. Our first competition was for the Reginald F. Lewis Museum Juried high school art show.
We had to create a piece celebrating African-American women who’ve made a difference in our lives, nation etc. I created most of it in Adobe Illustrator then added some ankara around the border. I placed Honorable mention – yay!
